Test Post 2

Great question — understanding the difference between pages and posts in Blogger is key to organizing your blog correctly.

📝 Posts vs. 📄 Pages in Blogger: What's the Difference?

📝 Posts

  • Purpose: Regular blog content or articles

  • Dated: Yes, posts are published with a date

  • Listed on homepage: Yes, newest posts appear first

  • Category tags (labels): Can be used to organize them

  • Good for:

    • News

    • Tutorials

    • Reviews

    • Any regular content updates

Think of posts like news articles or journal entries.

📄 Pages

  • Purpose: Static, timeless content (that doesn’t change often)

  • Dated: No

  • Not listed on homepage: You must manually link to them

  • No labels/tags

  • Good for:

    • Home

    • About

    • Contact

    • Services

    • FAQ

Think of pages like "About Us" or "Contact Info" on a website.

✅ You want to create: Home, About, Contact pages

Here’s exactly how to do that:

🔨 Step-by-Step: Create Pages in Blogger

  1. Go to https://www.blogger.com

  2. Open your blog dashboard

  3. On the left menu, click "Pages"

  4. Click the “+ New Page” button

  5. Create your pages one by one:

    • Home (optional — usually this just lists your posts)

    • About

    • Contact

  6. For each page:

    • Give it a title

    • Add your content (text, images, links, etc.)

    • Click Publish when done

🎯 Step 2: Add Pages to Your Menu (Navigation)

To make the pages visible as menu links:

  1. Go to Layout

  2. Find the Pages widget (usually under Header or Navigation)

  3. Click Edit

  4. Check the boxes for the pages you created (Home, About, Contact)

  5. Drag to reorder if needed

  6. Click Save

Now these pages will show in your blog’s top menu or sidebar (depending on your theme).

📌 Tip: What to Use for "Home" Page?

  • You don’t need to create a "Home" page — Blogger automatically shows your recent blog posts on the homepage.

  • Just link to / or your main domain (yourblog.blogspot.com or www.yourdomain.com)

But if you want a custom static homepage, you can:

  • Create a new Page called Home

  • Add your content (welcome message, etc.)

  • Set it as the homepage (in Layout, or manually link to it)

Let me know if you'd like help customizing your menu, making a contact form, or setting a static homepage!
